WOCG Executive Director speaks at Canadian Women's Golf Leadership Summit

The CP Women's Leadership Summit in Ottawa, Canada recently witnessed an inspiring panel discussion on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect in golf for BIPOC communities.

One of the esteemed panelists was Clemmie Perry, a former Corporate Executive and Founder of Women of Color Golf (WOCG) & Girls on the Green Tee (GOTG-T), a national movement in the United States.

Ms. Perry's valuable insights and shared experiences shed light on the efforts to increase minority participation in the game of golf.

The CP Women's Open, Canada's only stop on the LPGA Tour, serves as a platform for promoting women's leadership in both business and sport. The CP Women's Leadership Summit, held alongside the Open, is a day-long event that brings together influential female leaders from various industries.

As part of the PGA of Canada's commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect, Ms. Perry was invited to speak on a panel session dedicated to the importance of driving representation in golf. Ms. Perry's insights provided new strategies, statistics, and valuable insights on efforts to increase minority participation in the game of golf.
